    Travel: Beaches Turks and Caicos

Since we had some time off for the summer, we decided to take a family trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos. I had actually never been to Turks, or any all inclusive resorts before so I wasn’t sure of what to expect. We wanted a short flight and a good beach. First of all, the beach was absolutely perfect. Probably one of the nicest beaches I’ve been to. It didn’t seem too crowded and we could enjoy and relax. At Beaches, we stayed in the Key West Village, and the hotel itself was really nice and conducive for kids. Since my son is 3, any place that makes things easier…

    Summer Beauty Favorites

While I don’t have too much time for a long beauty routine, I do have my favorites that I like to use when I can.  For summer, I have a few new products that I’ve been using. URBAN DECAY: NAKED HEAT – I like these colors because they go really well with the summer tan I have now.  The lighter hues on the left I use for daily wear, they make your eyes pop but don’t draw too much attention.  For going out I like the more shimmery shades like “scorched” and “ember” URBAN DECAY: SHAPESHIFTER- Another Urban Decay favorite of mine.  I like to do a quick contour and these…

    Simple Wishes Review

I’m a big fan of any products that make nursing easier for moms. We just posted some favorite stylish nursing covers, and I recently came across a nursing bra that is a registry must-have too. I tried the Simple Wishes Pumping bra and would recommend it to moms-to-be and new moms. First of all, it was a comfortable material, good quality and adjustable. It ties in the back, so regardless of size or weight changes you should get a great fit. Straps are included, so you have the option to have the additional support if needed.  There is a secure fit with the pump, you won’t have any issues with…

Our Sesame Place Trip and Tips

Since my son is Elmo-obsessed, we decided to take him out to Sesame Place recently for a visit.  He had the BEST time on our Sesame place trip and was so excited to see all his favorite Sesame Street characters in real life. It’s a perfect trip for a stay-cation with little ones.  We didn’t have a lot of time to travel, so this was a good weekend trip close to home.  Since we stayed overnight we were able to get there right when the park opened when it was a little more quiet.  If you are going for a whole weekend you can have more time for both the…

    Summer Clothes for Kids

With the days getting warmer now, I had to do a wordrobe refresh for the kids. Summer clothes for kids are my favorite. So cute! Shorts with fun prints are a must have. For girls I’m obsessed with sundresses are rompers. I picked some of my favorite kids summer clothes below.

    Zoobooks Review and Giveaway

My little ones are OBSESSED with animals and going to the Zoo. They really can’t get enough, so we were excited to try Zoobooks magazines. Zoobooks publishes four different magazines for kids: Zoobies, Zootles, Zoobooks, and Zoodinos. My youngest, Adriana, is 10 months old and she loved Zoobies. Zoobies is for kids 0-3 years old. The magazine is small, perfect size for the little cuties! I liked that the pages are thicker paper, so that they don’t get ripped. There were great images of the animals that she loved to look at. I read Zoobies to her, and it had great age appropriate reading to develop language and entertain. There…

    Picture Perfect Moments: FotoJet Review

I have to confess I definitely take too many pictures on my phone. Some of myself, but most of them are pictures of my kids. There are just too many cute things that happen on a daily basis that I need to get a picture of. I also admit I don’t have photoshop skills so I like any photo editor websites. Recently, I came across Fotojet. FotoJet allows you to edit your pictures, create collages, or design your photos.  If you are social obsessed (like me) it also helps create social banners. I decided to edit some pictures of my kids and I found it easy to use.  There are…

    Style Guide: Diaper Bags

I’ve always had a handbag obsession, they are definitely my favorite accessory. Now that I have kids though, there is always that extra handbag to worry about (aka, your diaper bag). Little people certainly need LOTS of stuff. Since I can’t leave my house without one, I at least like to have a diaper bag that is fashionable but also functional too. They need to be big enough to fit all the baby essentials, and have lots of compartments. Compartments for bottles, extra set of clothes, and everything else I’m traveling is really helpful. Typically I like the darker colored bags, since any stains won’t be as obvious- but a…

    Travel: Disneyworld Tips and Fun

This past week I wound up doing a last minute trip to Disneyworld trip with my littles. Honestly, I was a little nervous about bringing both kids but it would up being a great time.  Here’s a little about our trip and some tips if you are headed to Disney soon. A Comfortable Stay is key: We didn’t have a lot of time to plan, and weren’t sure about where to stay. Since we were going with both kids, who are both under 3, we didn’t wind up staying at a Disney hotel. Yes, Disney hotels are cute and themed, but I needed more space so the kids would sleep better. After…

    Travel: Kalahari PA

I was looking for a short weekend trip that didn’t involve going too far. Also, being in the middle of winter, I know my littles have missed time at the pool- so we wound up taking a trip to indoor waterpark Kalahari Resort in the Poconos.  Kalahari PA was under a two hour trip for us. I was really surprised at how big the park was. The park had a ton of waterslides, a lazy river, and splash zone. I went with my three year old, so I was happy that it was very toddler friendly. There is a section specifically for toddlers that has smaller slides, and a mini-lazy…
